I started this blog to help motivate myself to lose weight. My goal is 20lbs by Christmas. Really thats not very much, I havent weighed myself lately but its still less than 5lbs a month which should be completely do-able right?
My first step is to buy a scale and step on it (gonna be hard). Im going to try to log my diet each day but I have promised myself that Im not going to beat myself up over it.
Of course exercise has to be incorporated into this plan too. As a matter of fact thats going to be the hardest part. I dont mind working out when Im there but making myself go is hard. I pay for a gym membership and have a free gym (small) in my apartment but I havent worked out in a long while. I dont have a detailed plan for when and how much Im going to work out just the plan to DO IT.
The food issue...eating too much has never been my problem. As a matter of fact I dont eat enough and thats half my problem. I cant seem to get in a healthy amount of calorie each day. So my goal for food is to cut out as much fast food as possible and to work on getting in balanced meals (bring on the chicken!) and to cut back on junk food for snacks (more fruit).
Now onward!
