ick Wii NOT Fit

I have been using too many things in my life as an excuse not to work out. I finally took the time to at least weigh myself-and it wasn't good news. Later today Im going to do DDR for a work out-or at least something-maybe work on cleaning out my room or something. I really need to burn more calories!

Epiphany!

Today I was getting dressed and looking in the mirror (something new I do since Ive been losing weight). And I realized...I feel fine about my weight! Yeah if I think about the 'number' I wanna lose more weight but if I just look in the mirror I feel fine.

I look at skinny girls and wanna be like them, but I really think my curves are what make me who I am.

Im not going to give up working out and eating better (though Ive been slacking on the working out part) and Im fine with losing more weight but Im not going to be fretting about the scale anymore. Before I had a goal to lose about 15 more pounds but now I think Im going to focus on losing 5 more and see how I feel from there.

DDR

Today I turned on my Wii and got a weight that just made me wanna throw it (its the Wii's fault that I gained right?) so I just turned it off. To make up for it, I did thirty minutes of DDR instead.

The DDR made me sweat WAY more than the Wii did so its not a bad thing I switched for the day-now I just need to do both in the same day.

I worked out 20-21days this month! I wish I had lost more weight of course but its a start right? I want to lose 16 more pounds, so I need to step it up I dont want to take 3 more months to lose it. The weight really starts coming off though when I focus on my diet so Im going to keep at that.

No chocolate until I lose 6 more pounds is my goal. Once I reach that goal I will re-evaluate and see if its possible to continue on this path until I reach my ultimate goal of 125lbs.

One More Day!

Today when I did my normal 'step' I was feeling it more than usual which is a good thing. Im only a 7lb loss from being able to eat chocolate again! Today Im going out with Maria so I have to make smart choices about what I eat-and I also need to remember to drink water all day too, Ive been doing better with that and I want to keep it up.

Yesterday I pulled out the DDR and played with it for about 20min on top of the Wii, and today I had a 0.2 loss, okay yeah not that much right? But at least Im not stuck at 143.1 anymore right? Later on today Im gonna work on the DDR again-hopefully kicking up the workouts and sticking to the diet will help me out of this rut.

Hula Hoops

I worked out this morning like I normally do. I also hula hooped for two extra sessions (15min and 20min)throughout the day. Ive tried to do keep myself busy so I couldnt think about food (mopping, vacuuming etc).

Im going to continue to be good!

Today my Wii showed that I gained over a pound... Very upsetting. I think its the snacking. Today Im going to write down everything I eat to see if that helps. And drink water water water!

Last night I tried to show Hilda how I 'cant' hula hoop and I COULD! I have no idea what the deal was before but for some reason I can now do it! LOL. This morning when I worked out I used the hula hoop and only got about 1500 spins-not even near the 3000 I usually get but I would think that those spins would be better than the others since they are full rather than just enough to trick the board (not that I try to, but Im sure its not the same), so Im not upset about that.

Today I did more cardio than normal-hula hooping, boxing, and step. Now on to the food aspect.

Today working out was funny/frustrating! I bought a real hula hoop to use with my Wii and I CANT seem to use it! LOL I dont know if its cause its a large hoop or if its cause Im a dork...but either way its a problem. Im going to keep practicing, some even when Im not working out so that I can use the hoop better.

For days Ive been saying Im going to reward myself with it but Ive been doing it with other things like pizza & ranch on my chicken. Ive decided to hold off the chocolate until I hit 135lbs which will be 10lbs from my goal! It seems amazing to think that Im getting close (well closer right?).

Wii To the New Me

Yay! My weight is back on the downward track. This is the lowest weight I have been able to record so far! Yesterday I planned on having chocolate because its been over 2 weeks since I have. BUT I didnt! Instead I had a piece of pizza, but only ONE-even though I was still hungry I told Brandon that I didnt want to blow my diet on pizza that wasnt even good, lol.

This morning I woke up without any ankle pain and determined to work out. I did the body test like I always do, before I work out. I hated the results so I decided to do it again after doing my hula hooping and step. The second test was much better, according to it Ive only put on 0.6lbs in the last few days, rather than 1.4lbs! Im looking forward to working out this week. I cant wait until I get under the 140lb mark! Some people might think the Wii Fit doesnt work, but it sure does for me!

Food: I also need to get back on the food train again. Ive continued to avoid chocolate but Ive had fast food at least once a day for 3 or 4 days, which I hadnt had at all since Ive been working out (that I can think of). Im sure thats not helping my weight gain at all. So back to chicken/fish/salad for me!

The last two days I have been running around and looking after Kayla due to Josie Lynn's birth so I havent worked out thought I have thought about it everyday and wished I had a better schedule look out so I could have taken advantage of the time I had. This morning I was looking forward to getting back on my Wii and then WHAM! I fell! I twisted my ankle pretty good and though its not too bad I dont want to push it by working out today..so tomorrow for sure is the day!! I will be back on track!

Today I did 30min of step while watching TV. Felt good. Im still doing well with the diet, and have yet to have any chocolate. Im beginning to think about saying NO chocolate until I reach a goal weight, Im not sure what that goal is yet, either something in the 130s or 130 itself if I decide to do it. Im taking it one day at a time right now.

Oh-I only took off one day from my Wii and I went right back to it. YAY!

I woke up so tight this morning that Im not surprised my "age" wasnt as good as its been lately. I completely focused on cardio aka aerobics today, 20min of advanced step and 11min of hula hooping. I will also be chasing Kayla (what a joke!) today so that will help keep me moving at least some what all day.

I didnt really have a work out plan for today. Sundays are homework day for me so I try not to schedule anything else (like working out takes so much time, lol). But as I was LAYING on the couch thinking how cold I was, and not doing homework anyway. I decided I should do a short work out to get the blood flowing, to warm up and engage my brain for the coming homework.

I tried some of the 'challenges' today. And those didnt go as well as I expected. Other than the JackKnife the board didnt seem to pick up my work out correctly. If that happens again Im going to try changing the batteries in the board. It worked fine the rest of the time so I think it was something I was doing wrong.

Here is what my graph looks like right now. I know it doesnt look like much BUT Im working my way further and further into the "normal" range. I was on the edge, in and out, for a while there and it feels great to see it continue to go down down down! I just gotta stick to it!















Today is day 5 of no chocolate and eating as healthy as possible-its working!!

Today I didnt get up and go straight to the Wii like I have been for the last few days. I really had to decide if I wanted to work out or not since I had two ideas in mind-one to work out 5 days in a row, and 2 to take off weekends.

My computer (it was my fault I found out later) took a dump this afternoon and I had no internet cause my brother was working on it. So this afternoon I decided to work out to pass the time...plus I was bored and felt like napping so I decided this would be better.

Today it was easier to get started on the Wii Fit-I didnt even bother trying to figure out a reason to put it off until later in the day like I usually do, I just got busy. My abs are sore too (not horribly, but I can feel them). This morning I even ate my yogurt before I worked out :).

Weight Loss Comments

I went out with Maria for dinner tonight (Sizzler-I had a small salad, one chicken wing, and half a piece of cheese bread). And she asked if I had lost weight :) She said she can tell looking at my thighs. GO ME! Although I havent really lost that much weight my proportions are changing in a good way.

Wii Fit (Day 2 in a Row)

Wii Fit Age: 30 (silly! yesterday was 20!)

I worked out two days in a row go me! I figured out a new way to challenge myself to make it interesting again. Im focusing on yoga. I complete a row at a time of yoga work outs, along with the suggested strength training exercise. It takes about 20minutes, then I move along to aerobics/balance exercises to complete a 25-30min work out. Only one more row of yoga to go-and then I will do the same thing-with strength training.

Today I also plan to grocery shop-fruit fruit fruit!

*On a side note-I realized Ive lost about 8lbs since December, I dont even remember being that heavy but according to my Wii graph I was. Which kinda makes since cause my clothes feel like I have lost weight-it just hasnt been that apparent on the Wii-probably cause I have been pretty steady for the last few weeks.* On to the next 8lbs!*

Its been almost 2 weeks since I used my Wii, my weight didnt move, but my age went down :). As I sit here I renew my commitment to work out more. I realized that Ive been restless, not sleeping well, and waking up stiff and sore. That can easily be corrected through diet and exercise.

Its been 5 days since I worked out-not good. My weight went down '0.2lbs'. And according to the Wii if I keep at this rate its going to be hard to meet my weight loss goal. Guess that means I gotta work out more regularly for sure.

Something New

Over the weekend I bought Jillian Michaels Fitness 2009 for Wii. After I got it home I was trying to find out something about it so I was Googling it. Of course once I did I found all sort of bad reviews about it! I decided to go ahead and try it out anyway.

Guess what-the reviews are right! Its impossible to make the avatar follow what your doing and its super super boring! I much prefer the Wii Fit.

Im going to try to take it back to Toys R Us, I figure I can claim its defective since it doesnt work right. From there I might try out another exercise game or not. I haven't really decided yet.

I need to get back to working out-and paying attention to what Im eating. Hotwings and Pepsi are NOT good!

Today I ate pretty healthy...even had a "green" smoothie my mom made with fruits and veggies... pretty yummy surprisingly. The nice part was a small glass was filling for a long time. My mom of course is trying to get me to do them too...its great for getting in your servings of fruits/veggies but I dont know if I want to do it or not, cause I hate it when I get that kinda stuff started but then quit. So I dont want to do it at all if Im not going to be committed.

I havent been stressing about my diet too much, just trying to eat in moderation rather than restricting my diet.

My plan is to do my weight and Wii Fit once a week, Im more of 'Monday' person so I think I will be doing it then, even though the first time I did it was Thursday. My OCD just wont let me do it any other way!

Today instead of doing Wii Fit I will be spending the day at Disneyland for exercise. Im actually really good about not eating a bunch of junk food there so that shouldnt be too bad for me. Of course I wont be doing any power walking cause we are supposed to be there to have 'fun' but it will be better than sitting on the couch all day.

Today I reset my goals for losing 22lbs in the next 3 months. That is 3.4lbs every 2wks, that cant be that bad right? I just really gotta cut out the chocolate.

A Little Bit of Motivation..

Here is a picture to motivate me. Even worse is the fact that in the picture I'm eating ice cream.

My face is SO round in the picture-and you can see my fat arms...and that doesnt even count the rest of my body thats not in the photo!

The only good thing I can say about it is I only ate a little more than the top off that ice cream :)
